BPBible

BPBible 0.5 Beta 5 contains all of the changes in the first four betas, which are listed here, here, here and here. It also features improvements and bug fixes over Beta 4. These changes are all listed below.

Improvements

Added a couple more book name abbreviations: Rm for Romans and Rv for Revelation.

Restored the "Copy selection with links" menu item that was present in BPBible 0.4.7.

Improved the speed of copy verses for both plain text and formatted text.

Made the highlighted search term be on the second top line rather than the top line in the preview window. This allows you to see the English word for original language searches in blocked mode and also gives additional context.

Changed the formatting of the formatted text copy in copy verses, to prevent the text having boxes around it when pasted in OpenOffice.org.

Made the Copy Verses dialog not prevent you using the rest of the application.

Bug fixes

Fixed a bug which caused extra words to appear in John 3:5 in the KJV.

Fixed a bug which meant that changing the current dictionary or daily devotional would not force a reload, and scrolling to the next entry would cause it to switch back to the old dictionary.

Prevented BPBible from locking up in certain rare situations with tooltips.

Fixed a bug which meant that sometimes Copy Verses and Quick Copy wouldn't copy the text, particularly when it was doing a formatted copy.

Fixed a bug which meant that sometimes copy verses would ignore the selected verses if the chapter number was also included.

Fixed a bug which meant that sometimes Strong's Numbers, Morphology or Morph Segmentation would not show even though the option was selected in the Display menu.
