Wanted to let you know that BPB runs well under W/8 (preview), though i have notices it uses a lot more memory - around 100,000kb with just 6 modules - than E-Sword (13,000kb) despite the latter having about over 20 Bibles, and 20 dictionaries, and about 15 commentaries, etc. |

I have not written to you in a long time, and use BP Bible daily and appreciate and recommend it, but i was looking forward to further development, but which seems to have stopped. Is all well? I find the special strength of BPB for me to be that of quick searching, with the ability to both view and copy in paragraph mode and to customize the "copy formatted" code. Some Bible programs do not even enable paragraph mode and none I know of allow Plus you can add/change things like book abbreviations, though i forgot how! |

Hello! Thank you for writing this app, BPBible is really great and universal for studing Bible. The error is: |

During the install of my BPBible 0.51.1 I got a virus malware alert for q:\bpbibleportable\app\bpbible\w9xpopen.exe This concerns me as there is no way to tell if this is a false positive. I got the installation program from portableapps.com. Either this is a problem file and BPBible needs to know, or it is a false positive and I need to be sure of that in order to let my anti-virus program know. Thanks |

Hi, I'm planning on setting up a custom build of the 0.5.1.1 Portable version of BPBible for use on a CD-R. Basically, for now I just plan on removing the GUI menu features that would try to write something to the disk (which would not be possible and thus result in an error). However, I was wondering if anyone could give me an exhaustive listing of them, including the names of the associated classes and methods which they are in or utilize? That would make it a lot easier for me to be sure that I have removed everything unnecessary, and not too much ... |

I was wondering if it is ok for me to install some books and things into BPBible Portable, zip the folder up, and then make it available to download on my website. It's so awesome how BPBible can show the Strong's words right under the English words when using the KJV, but I think it might be slightly intimidating for a lot of people if they think they have to install/configure anything. So I figure if I make it all nice in a zip file, more people are likely to try it. Thanks, |

ImprovementsMade more of the text show on larger screens to make navigation using Page Up and Page Down more smooth. Bug fixesFixed a bug which meant that many verses in some Chinese Bibles would not display if Strong's Numbers were not displayed. Fixed a bug which meant that the search button would not always default to searching the Bible when BPBible was first started up. Fixed a bug where the current verse would change when changing versions, even if the current verse was on-screen. |
